Cats and dogs, living together in harmony...?

Your cat will probably be scared just by looking at the dog, even if it doesn't harm it, but that's only natural. Soon, it'll probably get used to it. Once, a stray dog, entered our house without anyone noticing and hid under the sofa and when my cat saw it, she totally freaked out! Her hair stood on end and her back sort of curved and her tail stood up straight. Then she climbed the mosquito net on the windows and was hanging from the curtain-rod by the time we found the dog. But then, that was a stray. I've seen households in which cats and dogs are raised together. And, yes, it would be best to get a dog that is used to living with a cat. All the best!
